Every day, the foundation's team communicates with people, processes their requests for help and meeting urgent needs.
We get to know each other, hear their stories, understand their dreams. And in addition to the common one, about Victory, there are dreams that can change someone's personal universe.
Our ambassador of the foundation, Serhiy Slivka, after visiting the residential center in Tarashchi, told Victor’s story.
Viktor is 32 and comes from Cherkasy region. For the past eight years, he has been at the Center for the Care of People with Special Needs, Victor has cerebral palsy. Since the beginning of the military conflict with the Russian Federation in eastern Ukraine in 2014, he lost two stepbrothers in the ATO.
Victor is fond of computer technology: he knows how to assemble and disassemble system blocks. But the power supply in his computer burned out. Victor bargained for spare parts to repair. And we decided to simply update his laptop. But in a few days we will hand over the new equipment to Victor.
If it is larger, we want to involve partners and equip an entire computer class in this boarding center.
After all, for its inhabitants, it is a real window to the world.
